After the past weekend and two “figures” in Mont-Tremblant, Petra Vlhová enjoyed the NHL hockey match between Montreal and Seattle (4:2), and after the final siren, there was a meeting with the Slovak forward in the service of the Canadiens, Juraj Slafkovský.
“I was really looking forward to it, as I had never been to such a match. And such reaction is always great. Me and my team enjoyed it. The meeting with Juraj was pleasant, I am glad that we could get to know each other. He’s from Košice, I’m from Mikuláš, we’re a small country and I always look forward to meeting another successful Slovak athlete abroad.” said Petra Vlhová.
The Slovak skier has completed four giant slaloms and three slaloms in the World Cup so far. From “Obrák” he has successively 3rd, 10th, 2nd and 5th place. As for the slalom, she won one in Levi, Finland, and did not finish the next one after an unfortunate “slalom” in the 2nd round, while she was clearly first after the first one, and even the intermediate time indicated her enormous dominance. In the third slalom of the season in Killington, USA, she took second place.
