In Russia, queues are back – for eggs. Director Theo Ushev wrote this on Facebook. Here is his text:
Vladimir Sorokin has an excellent book “The Tail”.
In it, all the action takes place in a queue for something that no one remembers what it was.
Long queues are back in Russia. For eggs.
They have become very expensive, and Russians in many cities line up at 5 in the morning to buy from the cheap ones, not from those of the speculators in the stores.
Eggs there cost 1.80 euros (180 rubles).
They put them in the queue for only 70 rubles each…
Here’s the bright future (past) that the bg murzilki dream of.
Their eggs have become more expensive! And of the cheap ones, there was only one truck!
