Cigarette machine blown open

Unknown people have blown open a cigarette vending machine on Harthaer Strasse.

The machine was destroyed by the detonation. The perpetrators stole an unknown amount of cigarettes. Information on the amount of the total damage is currently not available.

The police are investigating the cause of an explosive explosion. Among other things, it will be necessary to clarify how the machine was blown up. (kj)

Woman slightly injured in accident

A woman (52) suffered minor injuries in an accident on the B 98.

The 52-year-old was driving an Audi A1 on the connecting road between Roda and Colmnitz. At the intersection with the B 98 she collided with an Audi A4 (driver 37) that was traveling on the B 98. Information on property damage is not yet available. (uh)

Police officers from the Meißen district are investigating a woman (52) for endangering road traffic.

The 52-year-old was driving a VW Golf on the A 14 towards Dresden. Shortly before the Nossen triangle, she left the road to the left, hit the central barrier and drove away. When she was later caught by alert police officers, they noticed the smell of alcohol on her breath. They arranged for blood samples to be taken from the 52-year-old German and secured her driving license. (uh)

Rear-end collision on the highway

On Sunday, two cars collided on the A4 between the Wilsdruff exit and the Nossen triangle. A woman (34) was injured.

A 45-year-old was driving an Audi Q7 in the left lane towards Eisenach. A VW Passat (driver 41) driving in front of him had to stop due to traffic. The Audi drove into the Passat and then hit a mobile guardrail. The 34-year-old passenger in the Passat was slightly injured. There was damage amounting to around 8,300 euros. (lr)
