Due to the sanctions imposed on Russia due to its invasion of Ukraine, the AvtoVAZ carmaker had to cut some equipment from its cars. In the case of the legendary Lady Niva, it was, among other things, ABS. And it is the anti-lock brake system that is now back on offer.
He is not alone. For the 2024 model year, the Niva is also getting a new emission system that will meet the Euro 5 standard. This was valid in the European Union for new cars in the years 2009-2014. Still, this is an improvement – the current model meets the Euro 2 standard from the 1990s.
Lada Niva Travel – although it sounds like equipment, it is a completely different model with a five-door body – gets cruise control, an on-board computer, an illuminated instrument panel and two-tone alloy wheels.
The price of the original floodplain also goes up, from 830,000 rubles to 927,500, i.e. from approximately 207,000 crowns to 232,000 crowns. The price of the Travel level increases from 1.199 to 1.215 million rubles (from approx. 300 thousand crowns to 304 thousand crowns).
