Dismay in the world of basketball, upon learning of the disappearance of a legend, Faïda Antoine de Padoue alias Papa Be at the age of 74. Knight of the national order, this great man had devoted a large part of his life to basketball and sport in general because he was a PE teacher. He held the position of National Technical Director of the Malagasy Basketball Federation (FMBB) for years. But before this great responsibility, he was a good coach who had made good titles for the national team of Madagascar and that of Mauritius. Papa Be is quite simply a machine for producing champion clubs for all the clubs that are lucky enough to meet him. Midi Madagasikara presents its sincere condolences to his family, his friends and the little world of the Malagasy orange ball.
