National Elections for the seventh day: All voting stations are closed on the first day – the seventh day

Counselor Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, said that all subcommittees nationwide were closed after the last voter inside the electoral campus was enabled to vote in the 2024 presidential elections.

Counselor Ahmed Bandari explained in a special statement to “Youm7” that the first day of voting witnessed a very large turnout of voters at the electoral committees, which exceeded all expectations.

Counselor Ahmed Bandari stressed a number of important matters witnessed on the first day of voting:

1- The first day witnessed a large influx to the committees, especially the expatriate committees, which witnessed an unprecedented large turnout.

2- A number of committees ran out of ballot papers and were provided with new cards

3- The number of citizens who inquired about the committees through the Commission’s website today from nine in the morning until five in the evening exceeded 5 million citizens, while in 2014 the inquiries did not exceed one million and 300 thousand voters only.

4- 500,000 citizens also inquired via text messages to number 5151, and 500,000 via Directory 140.
