Primary Care Occupational Risk Prevention Service Vaccinates Professionals Against Flu and COVID-19

The Primary Care Occupational Risk Prevention Service organized a device during the month of November to vaccinate the professionals of the Primary Care Care Management against the flu and the booster dose of COVID-19. The immunization has been carried out for two days at the facilities of San Martín de Porres, 6. Among the more than two hundred people who have been vaccinated are the General Director of Care, Almudena Quintana, and the Care Manager of Primary Care, Charo Azcutia. .

Health professionals are part of the “target” groups for double vaccination for their own protection and that of the patients they care for in the healthcare environment, so vaccination is carried out in the healthcare centers themselves. To facilitate access to the vaccine for professionals who do not carry out their activity in healthcare centers, but who also contribute to maintaining the health of the community, the Occupational Risk Prevention Service of the Primary Care Care Management has vaccinated this group of professionals in the Primary Care Care Management building, applying the current Public Health protocol, that is, offering flu vaccination to everyone for health promotion and Covid vaccination to those people over 60 years of age and/or with personal risk factor.

He SPrimary Care Occupational Risk Prevention Service, led by Carmen Otero, has been organizing a special seasonal vaccination program every year to protect staff at this level of care, and in parallel, professionals who wish to do so are vaccinated at their health center.
