New cold front will affect Western Cuba

Tonight, a sudden change in weather is approaching in the west of the country due to the approach of a cold front. A shift of the wind to the north is expected, a drop in temperature and the possibility of showers as the frontal zone passes.

The front will reach the eastern region of Cuba on Tuesday, retreating on Wednesday and repositioning itself to the north on Thursday. This process will culminate on Friday when it joins the formation of a new extratropical low in the Gulf of Mexico. Monitoring of this phenomenon is urged as current conditions may vary throughout the week.

If the predictions hold, a marked change in weather is anticipated starting next Friday with the arrival of a strong cold front, with the possibility of severe phenomena. Throughout the weekend, contrasting conditions are expected.

At the beginning of next week, the front will move towards the eastern region of Cuba, influencing the west and center of the country with winter conditions. Caution, especially for those sensitive to weather changes, is advised throughout this process.
