Sergeant Major Eyal Meir Berkowitz was pronounced dead. He was one of the Israeli soldiers who died on the battlefield while fighting against Hamas.
His death was especially highlighted by netizens defending Palestine.
The reason is that several weeks before he died, Eyal Meir Berkowitz uploaded a video that made netizens furious.
He made a video when he blew up one of the houses belonging to residents in Gaza, Palestine.
One of the Twitter accounts with the name @/doamuslim uploaded the video.
In the video, Eyal Meir Berkowitz counts down before the bomb is detonated which destroys the house.
Even more surprising, he dedicated this video to his beloved daughter, Ellie, whose birthday it was.
“This bombing is a dedication to my little daughter, Ellie,” he said, quoting from Twitter @/doamuslims on Sunday (10/12).
After destroying Gaza residents’ houses, Eyal Meir Berkowitz was announced dead along with four other soldiers.
Among them are Master Sergeant Naftali Yonah Gordon, Master Sergeant Omri Rot, Master Sergeant Eyal Meir Berkowitz, and Sergeant Major Kobi Dvash.
After the news of his death was announced, netizens immediately went viral by uploading the sergeant’s video which went viral on social media.
