Modder Robbe Cosideci Breisink, one of the lead creators of the popular multiplayer mod Skyrim Together for The Elder Scrolls V, has begun creating a similar tool for Starfield. However, very quickly he decided to stop development, which he announced on Discord.
According to Buysink, since the release of Starfield, he has been reverse engineering for days to try to find elements common to Skyrim that would make the mod easier to port. About 70% of the main parts of the mod had already been transferred when the developer decided to take a break and go through Bethesda’s new product. And then Cosideci was disappointed in the game – it seemed boring, uninteresting and insipid to him, in which there was no joy in exploring the open world. “This game is fucking garbage,” the modder said and froze the development of a multiplayer mod that he no longer had the energy or desire to create.
Starfield was released on September 6 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The title showed the fifth best start among games in Europe for 2023, but after two weeks, retail sales figures decreased significantly. After release, the game’s rating dropped to “mixed”.
