Oliver’s torture and the fact that the perpetrator of his horrific abuse remains at large has outraged the local community.

“Furthermore, we also have a big problem with the lack of police. We have a police officer. What should he do with so many people and so many houses? Please bring us policemen. They are now saying that we cover up criminals and that no one should come on vacation to Arachova. Businesses have already canceled bookings after this incident and all the noise it has caused.”
