So far, Honda has not announced the official price of the EM1 e: electric motorbike. However, at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the estimated price for the Honda EM1 e: is in the range of IDR 40 – IDR 45 million.
If you get a subsidy of IDR 7 million, the price will certainly be cheaper. A rough estimate is that the price of a Honda electric motorbike will be sold in the range of IDR 33 million to the most expensive IDR 38 million. Honda details for one EM1 e electric motorbike: IDR 30 million – IDR 33 million, while the battery is in the range of IDR 10 million – IDR 12 million. Currently, Honda has registered the motorbike on the SISAPIRa page which is specifically accessed for subsidized electric motorbikes.
“We are currently in the application process through the Ministry of Industry’s SISAPIRa system,” said Astra Honda Motor General Manager Corporate Communication Ahmad Muhibbuddin when contacted by detikOto, Friday (8/12/2023).
Regarding specifications, the Honda EM1 e: has a length of 1,795 mm, width 680 mm, height 1080 mm. Compare this with the Honda Beat, 1,877 mm long, 660 mm wide and 1,074 mm high.
What attracts attention is the use of a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 26.1 Ah. On paper, this electric motorbike is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 45 km/h. However, it can only cover a maximum distance of 41.1 km.
When charging the battery, consumers can charge it with the Honda Power Pack Charger e: with a charging time of 2.7 hours (160 minutes) for 25%-75% and 6 hours for 0%-100% or consumers can visit Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: to exchange a fully charged battery. Electric motorbikes will be sold in the Honda motorbike dealer network which has the Honda e: shop logo. For those of you who are interested, you can also place an order.
