McNeese State (8-2) has won three straight in the last 10 days. On Tuesday, November 28, the “American” league team “University of Alabama at Birmingham” (4-3) was defeated 81:60. On Saturday, December 2, Ohio Valley Conference representative “University of Tennessee at Martin” (5-4) was defeated at home with 91:80.
Roberts Birze scored three points in nine minutes in the first game (2p 0/1, 3p 1/2) and received three personal notes. In the second game, the Latvian had three points (3p 1/2), one rebound and one blocked ball in five minutes.
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, McNeese State defeated NCAA Division III Mississippi University for Women (3-2) 92-23 at home. Roberts Birze scored eight points (2p 2/4, 3p 1/7, 1p 1/2), grabbed four rebounds and made one assist in 27 minutes.

Maine (7-4) is on a three-game winning streak. On Wednesday, November 29, “Black Bears” defeated “Holy Cross” (2-6) of the “Patriot League” 72:57 on the road in the state of Massachusetts. On Sunday, December 3, Ivy League representative Brown (2-8) was defeated 60:49 at home.
Kristians Feierbergs stood out in the first game with 11 points (2p 2/3, 3p 1/2, 1p 4/4) and two steals in 19 minutes. On Sunday, the Latvian went out on the pitch for two minutes and received one personal note.
On Wednesday, December 6, Maine defeated another Patriot League team, Boston University (3-6), 74:65. Kristians Feierbergs scored four points (2p 2/3), two rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes.
Western Athletic Conference
University of Texas at Arlington (5-4) finished November with an 86-71 home win over fellow league team Abilene Christian (3-4). On Saturday, December 2, the Mavericks lost to Grand Canyon (6-1) 69-76 on the road in Phoenix.
On Wednesday, December 6, “UT Arlington” defeated the NAIA team “University of North Texas at Dallas” (0-4) 74-37 in the “Deck the halls with basketballs” game. Fred Bagatski did not participate in any of the three mentioned games.
Patriot League
Bucknell (3-7) lost 71-85 to Princeton of the Ivy League at home on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Noah Williamson had 10 points (2p 2/4, 3p 0/1, 1p 6/6), three rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes.

On Saturday, December 2, the Bison defeated Penn State (4-4) of the Big Ten League 76-67 on the road. Noah Williamson scored 21 points in 36 minutes (2p 8/10, 3p 1/3, 1p 2/2). The Latvian youth national team player added two rebounds and one interception.
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
Quinnipiac (6-2, MAAC 1-1) defeated Stonehill (1-6) of the Northeast Conference 80-69 on Sunday, Nov. 26. On Friday, December 1st, MAAC team Canisius (5-3, 1-0) won 73:93 on the road.
In the first game, Rihards Vaver stood out with nine points (2p 0/1, 3p 3/8), six rebounds and two blocked shots in 30 minutes. In the MAAC season opener, the Latvians had six points (2p 1/3, 3p 0/3, 1p 4/4), four rebounds and two fouls in 26 minutes.
On Sunday, December 3, the Bobcats continued their road trip with an overtime victory over Niagara (1-5, MAAC 0-2), defeating their rivals 75-68 (63-63). The Squirrels did not participate in this game.
