“Russian soldiers have completely dispelled the illusion that Western military equipment is invulnerable during hostilities.” This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a ceremony dedicated to Heroes of the Fatherland Day, TASS reported.
Putin has presented a number of soldiers with Hero of Russia gold stars.
“These are people from different regions of our country – from Karelia to Primorsky Krai, people of different nationalities, and all of them, side by side, defend the common, united homeland. They acted bravely, sometimes despite the wounds, they led their units, destroyed tanks, other armored vehicles, artillery systems of the enemy, including Western production, and shattered the illusion of their invulnerability,” Putin commented.
