After almost two years of early access, Ready or Not version 1.0 finally arrives next week. The tactical FPS, which can be considered the spiritual heir of the late SWAT games, has received a rather atmospheric trailer.
Although Ready or Not was originally promised by Void Interactive by the end of 2020, the team eventually parted ways with the publisher Team 17, as the game contains a course focused on school shootings, which caused many inconveniences and turned out to be too real. The game does not trivialize reality, it offers such an intense experience that the world we know gave birth to.
The full version will be released on Steam on December 13, the single-player campaign is called Commander Mode and contains 18 missions, but of course you can also play through the tough missions with four more friends.
Lovers of former SWAT games will definitely be back for the realism of Ready or Not, as the guys did not shy away from painting the worst reality of law enforcement. So, are you ready?
