The measurement was made at 10:17 Moscow time. The thermometer showed a temperature of minus 12 degrees Celsius.

“Today we are monitoring the temperature especially closely. In Cherkizovo it’s still -12, the next measurement is 3 hours before the start of the match,” the message said.

The next measurement should take place around 16 o’clock. The match is scheduled to start at 19:00.

According to the regulations, teams have the right to refuse to hold a meeting if the air temperature drops below minus 15 degrees Celsius. Earlier it was reported that by the beginning the temperature could drop to minus 14 degrees.

The match between Spartak and Krylia Sovetov, which will be held in Moscow on Saturday, is also under threat of postponement due to low air temperatures.
