Honda’s electric motorbike is one step away from getting a subsidy of IDR 7 million. It is known that Honda electric motorbikes have received a 40% TKDN certificate.
Honda’s electric motorbike will almost certainly get a price cut of IDR 7 million. In detikOto’s search on the TKDN page of the Ministry of Industry, it is written that the Honda EM1 e:Plus electric motorbike meets TKDN 40%. As is known, to get a discount of IDR 7 million, electric motorbikes must meet a TKDN of at least 40%.
On that page there are two types of Honda electric motorbikes, namely the EM1 e: Plus and EM1 e:. Each has a TKDN of 40.53% and 40.56%. When confirmed, Astra Honda Motor’s General Manager of Corporate Communication, Ahmad Muhibbuddin, agreed with this. Muhib explained that currently his party is registering the Honda EM1 e:Plus on the SISAPIRa page.

“We are currently processing the application through the Ministry of Industry’s SISAPIRa system,” said Muhib when contacted by detikOto, Friday (8/12/2023).
Just for additional information, the Honda EM1 e: electric motorbike was launched for the first time at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2023) exhibition. This vehicle uses a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 26.1 Ah which can cover a distance of 41 km. Meanwhile the maximum speed is 45 km/hour.
Regarding battery charging, consumers can charge with the Honda Power Pack Charger e: with a charging time of 2.7 hours (160 minutes) for 25%-75% and 6 hours for 0%-100%. In addition, customers can visit the Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: to exchange a fully charged battery.
The Honda EM1 e: which is equipped with an MPP e: battery is marketed at a price of around IDR 40 million – IDR 45 million. Honda EM1 e: will be sold in the Honda motorbike dealer network that has the Honda e: shop logo. Honda EM1 e: begins distribution to consumers in December 2023.
Honda has not released the official price of this compact electric motorbike, but this motorbike is in the range of IDR 40 million – IDR 45 million. Honda said this electric motorbike had been assembled locally. If subsidies are deducted, it is estimated that the Honda electric motorbike will be sold from IDR 33 million to IDR 38 million.
