From the hands of Diego Godín, former defender of the Uruguayan national team, the “Puma Cumbre” ball was presented. The 2024 Copa América ball will roll for the first time on June 20, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, where the opening match of the competition will be played.

The Commebol Copa América 2024 will be held in the United States and includes the ten Conmebol teams and six guests from Concacaf. In this edition, the tournament will be organized by both confederations.

The six Concacaf teams qualified for the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League. The representative teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean already classified are: United States, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama.
The other two Concacaf participants will be confirmed after a knockout match between Canada x Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica x Honduras, which will be held in March next year.
