GERB and PP-DB Unite on Common Bill to Drop Derogation for Russian Oil

“GERB and “Continuing the change – Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) are ready with a common bill to drop the derogation, which will satisfy both parties and will be submitted to the parliament tomorrow.”

The derogation for Russian oil: The majority in the NA withdrew the two bills

This was announced to journalists in the National Assembly by GERB leader Boyko Borisov in the presence of Radoslav Ribarski from PP-DB and the chairman of the Energy Commission Delyan Dobrev.

“We will defend it together,” Borissov emphasized and explained: “Kiril Petkov and I decided today that it makes no sense for two bills to “fight” in the parliament and to give the opposition a chance to support one or the other, and then we would not we’ve been talking for three days.”
