The situation on the battlefield in Ukraine remains difficult, Russia continues to launch drones against Ukrainian cities and important infrastructure, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said today, quoted by BTA.
We must continue and increase our support for Ukraine. This is important for Ukrainians in the difficult winter months. It is the right thing to do, he added.

Asked if the alliance could change if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election again, Stoltenberg said the strength of the pact would not be affected by who rules on either side of the Atlantic. NATO enjoys such success because it has the ability to adapt and maintain unity despite differences, he pointed out.
In NATO, we have had our differences many times, but we have always overcome them with the knowledge that we are stronger together. I am convinced that this will be the case after the US presidential elections next fall, regardless of who won, because the strength of NATO is in the interest of US national security, the Secretary General summed up.
