Police urged students to avoid the area of the shooting
A shooting on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) claimed lives. The school posted a message on the X social network that read: “This is not a test. RUN – HIDE – DEFEND”.

A man has been arrested for killing six people in Texas
The Las Vegas Police Department said officers are on the scene and have taken down the suspect. They urged students to avoid the area. The authorities added that the number of victims has not yet been confirmed.
