Bug leads to renaming third-party printers to HP printers in Windows

What a *drama* HP is with its printers. In the consumer market then; no business experience. Just hassle with drivers. HP Smart which you use to install the printer and then simply says that there is no printer installed. You have to use the HP Easy Setup again, which puts a slightly different driver on the system. And then HP Smart suddenly works again, but you cannot scan without creating an account. Yes, to scan you must have an HP account. Also if you just connected your printer to USB.

I stopped selling HP printers in my store about six months ago and now only sell Canon and Brother – with the emphasis at the moment on Canon. Problems have simply been reduced to 0. And those Canons now also have AirPrint for Apple (which was only for HP for a long time), and also cloud print for Android. And also a lot more interesting in terms of ink prices.
