The gossip is now going crazy. And this time they don’t concern the English royal family (dealing with the new book «Endgame»). At the center of the scandal now is the Spanish royal family. And specifically Queen Letizia, 51 years old, at the center of a volume which tells the long story of love and passion that the sovereign would have had with her former brother-in-law (before marrying her sister), the entrepreneur Jaime Del Burgo, 53 years old. And the romantic relationship would have continued even when Letizia was already married to Felipe of Spain (since 2004). In fact, Jaime Del Burgo confesses in the book (titled «Letizia and I. What secrets does Queen Letizia hide?») written by Jaime Peñafiel.
Del Burgo, married from 2014 to 2016 to Letizia’s sister, Telma Ortiz, now lives in Switzerland with his second wife and claims that the love story with the queen began in 2002. In 2004 it seems that things were going well between the two so much so that he, wanting to propose to her, invited her to dinner with a ready-made ring “but didn’t give it to her, because Letizia revealed to him that she had met the man who would change her life, namely Felipe di Borbone”, he writes Peñafiel. From then until 2010, in an ups and downs of relationship, love blossomed again. so much so that – we read – in 2010, «Letizia told me «I love you» and I replied «I love you»». And according to the entrepreneur, he and the queen dreamed of running away to the United States together.
Letizia (despite already having two daughters with the king) would then propose to him to have a child together “using a surrogate mother in Los Angeles”. As official proof of his statements, Jaime revealed to the world’s media that he had “photographs, videos and text messages”. So much so that before he released the book, the entrepreneur released a photo to the Daily Mail showing the pregnant queen taking a photo of herself in the mirror. The text says: «Love. I’m wearing your pashmina. It’s like feeling next to me.” So far the queen has not responded to the entrepreneur’s comments which royal experts bet could undermine her presence in the royal family.
