The proposals of the national consultation on national sovereignty, which lasted until the middle of January, came into focus at the year-end Váci Civic Evening held on the last day of November. At the event, the host, parliament member Bence Rétvári, together with the recently appointed Minister of Justice, Bence Tuzson, who represents the neighboring constituency centered on Dunakesz, tried to highlight the importance of the issue.
– When a person falls into the situation of suddenly finding himself in the seat of the Minister of Justice, then all of a sudden, not only on the political level, but also on the legal side, the problems that we can all think of, that we are debating and fighting on far-off issues, become increasingly apparent. With Brussels, but when you suddenly have to stand there, fighting for the interests of Hungary, then it is a completely different point of view. In this situation, one can understand a little more about what is going on in the background, and it is indeed a very complex task to understand and understand why our opponents think the way we do and why we think completely differently.
Allow me to mention this as a starting point: if we ourselves feel the problem that, say, masses of immigrants suddenly appear at our borders, and we feel that if these immigrants stay here, they will be able to change our culture and our lives, then this whole there are simply historical reasons. After all, we Hungarians have been exposed several times to the fact that our own culture was indeed threatened by some kind of danger, starting from the Turkish times or even earlier, but then we were faced with this during the Habsburg period and even later during the Soviet occupation, so the point is that we felt , we feel that all this is about the preservation of our own culture and traditions. Of course, Germany and France also had wars in the past centuries, but these wars never said that the preservation of their culture and identity was at stake, a German never felt that he might not be a German from tomorrow, and what he had done so far was will change, not even a Frenchman, their thinking is not aggravated by this awareness.
Their thinking pointed and still points in the direction that if they went somewhere in the world, they usually took their own culture with them, so did the British and French, and in the end they were right, because most of the world was theirs. he began to dress according to their patterns, the state organizations were built on European models, as well as the armies. So, in fact, their culture is expansive, expanding, they start from this, they feel that they have nothing to be afraid of, what they say, everyone should accept it as a one-time truth, whether it is about the gender issue or anything else. We, on the other hand, feel a constant fear of our own culture, so we feel constantly threatened. And this is a huge difference between us – said Bence Tuzson in his introduction.
According to his words, there wouldn’t even be a problem with the opposition of the two different points of view, the problem starts with the fact that from Western Europe, from Brussels, they simply want to force every effort and will on everyone, and if there is a problem that they themselves have caused, then they spread it they want to spread.
– Of course, there is European solidarity, but here many people confuse two things, because there are strategic issues, they are historical and there are tactical issues. For example, suddenly dispersing the immigrant masses is certainly a question with a historical perspective, while in Brussels it is only seen as a tactical task – Bence Tuzson gave perspective to the national consultation on the sovereignty of our country.
As one of the defining parts of the evening, those gathered were able to watch footage that shows how the more violent border violators, armed with stabbing and in many cases firearms, besiege the fence and attack the border guards, Bence Tuzson said, with these shocking images in the future, the Brussels they will also confront bureaucrats as a basis for negotiation.
The Minister of Justice Bence Tuzson highlighted this at the press conference held before the civic evening, and at the same time asked the people living in the region – as before – to express their opinion on the issues of the national consultation this time as well, because their opinion will be heard not only in Hungary, but also in Brussels, which strengthens our country’s negotiating position.
