Hagman: “Will not visit Lasse on Heden”

GOTHENBURG. The men sawed the food at their WC and ate their fill of fast food.
Ahead of the Women’s World Cup, where the women stay in the same hotel as the men did, the national team manager tried the food and the players and managers praise it.
A turn to “Lasse på Heden” is not relevant.
The day after the men’s WC in January ended, the Swedish players judged the food at their hotel in Gothenburg in Sportbladet.
Anonymously, they said that the same fish dish was served twelve days straight, that “the food was worse than semi-finished products” and that every other day they had to supplement with food from pizzerias and hamburger joints near the hotel in central Gothenburg. Among other things, people went to the classic street kitchen “Lasse på Heden” to eat their fill, which Jim Gottfridsson admitted a couple of days later in P4 Extra that among other things he had done.

Since it became clear that the Swedish ladies would be staying in the same hotel in Gothenburg during their current WC, the national team management has been careful that the food would not fail again.
– I tried the food before the WC and had a meeting with the hotel. We caught that puck and secured it, says national team manager Hanna Fogelström.

At Christmas dinner in the middle of the World Cup
The players and managers seem to be very happy.
– You had your thoughts after all the publications that were after the men’s WC, but it has been incredibly good. Everyone has had their fill and I haven’t heard anyone complain about it. Even for us gluten-intolerant people, it has been good, says Emma Lindqvist.
– It is very good, exclaims Tomas Axnér.
– There is a lot to choose from. I don’t think I will visit “Lasse på Heden”, says Nathalie Hagman with a laugh.

But the national team has actually skipped a dinner at the hotel already. Last Saturday, between World Cup matches one and two, they had a family evening, where everyone in the squad had to bring two of their loved ones, and then had Christmas dinner elsewhere.
