Government media office Hamas said 16,248 people died in Hamas’ war against Israel. They died in the Gaza strip.
“The Israel-Hamas war has killed at least 16,248 people in the Gaza Strip,” said the Hamas state media office, reported by AFP, Wednesday (6/12/2023).
They revised the previous toll given by the health ministry. The revision was published Tuesday (5/12) local time.
They say that during the two months of war, more than 7 thousand children died. Meanwhile, nearly 5 thousand women died.
“In nearly two months of fighting sparked by the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, more than 7,000 children and nearly 5,000 women were killed in Gaza,” the media agency said in a statement.
