The time of the meeting of the UN Security Council regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine has been announced
Dmitry Polyansky, the first deputy of Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, said that on December 11, a meeting of the UN Security Council will be held at the request of Moscow regarding the supply of arms to Ukraine.
According to information obtained by SIA, Polyansky wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
Polyansky clarified that the meeting will be held at 15:00 local time – 18:00 Moscow time.
At the same time, the deputy permanent representative said that his Western colleagues continue to focus on the issue of the Ukraine conflict at the UN Security Council, completely ignoring the meetings held on the situation in the Gaza Strip.
…According to the established and not very pleasant tradition for them, they decided to respond with two meetings at the same time. On December 8 at 10:00 New York time, there will be an informal meeting of the Security Council on the “Arria Formula” on the 10th anniversary of the Maidan events. As speakers, we will try to involve the direct participants in the events that largely determined Ukraine’s unenviable destiny. And on December 11 at 15:00 New York time (23:00 Moscow time) The meeting we requested regarding the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine will take place, and a very interesting speaker is also planned there!

It should be noted that Polyansky previously assessed the risk of Russia’s expulsion from the UN Security Council.
