Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto uploaded a photo of a meeting with the former Head of BIN AM Hendropriyono. Prabowo called Hendropriyono his mentor and commander.
Presidential candidate number 2 uploaded several photos of his meeting with Hendropriyono on his Instagram account, Tuesday (5/12/2023) evening. The meeting took place this afternoon.
“Meeting again with my mentor, General TNI (Ret.) AM Hendropriyono,” wrote Prabowo in his statement.
The meeting took place at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense Office, Central Jakarta. Prabowo admitted to exchanging ideas regarding politics.
“This time he stopped by my office to exchange ideas regarding developments in defense politics over lunch,” he said.
Prabowo then thanked Hendropriyono for the time he had given. Prabowo called Hendropriyono his commander forever.
“Thank you for taking the time to stop by my office, General. Once a commander is always a commander,” he said.
