The operator Orange was completely overwhelmed this Tuesday by a technical problem. The worst part is that subscribers are left to their own devices, including professional customers.
A publication on info-chalon.com was enough to raise a wave of calls and requests. A sign that ultimately the operator Orange was unable to inform its customers of the “bug”. Everyone can admit that technical problems exist. But in a crisis situation, the worst problem is the absence of information for subscribers. How can we imagine that in our time, the operator is unable to inform its subscribers in this derailment? A simple insert on the Orange website should reassure subscribers. But no… radio silence!
Worse, reports have poured in from Lille, Mont-de-Marsan… far from the Grand Est mentioned here and there. The difficulties of accessing mailboxes, including professional mailboxes, affect the whole of France and we are able to affirm this even if on the side of the telephone platform, it was a question of minimizing the impact.
We will spare a thought for this business manager in the North who explained to us her concerns in managing her schedules without even having the guarantee that the emails sent this morning were received by their recipients. In this digital age, there is still a lot to do!
It is still astonishing to think that the information comes from a “small” provincial media! Notice to the Orange group’s communications department for their next advertising insertions… choose efficiency! In the meantime… what time will you find your mailboxes? In fact, no one obviously knows anything about it! Fingers crossed for a quick resolution though!
