The French singer gives his opinion on the criticisms against him.
The debut of his new series “Panda” has caused a lot of talk. Julien Doré has actually truncated his singing hat for that of an actor at the end of the year and plays the role of a police officer like no other on TF1. A police comedy which had its effect with nearly 5.5 million viewers. A great first for the French artist who talks about his feelings in the face of criticism in an interview. Because with this new project, some people don’t miss it.
A fact that is even truer since the advent of social networks. And with the number of scenes in which Julien Doré appears naked (his character is a bit of an exhibitionist), we can imagine that the criticisms and nasty attacks from people on the networks will multiply. But nothing to worry the singer-actor : “Frankly, people know my self-deprecation. Attacks on social networks, I play with them. I sometimes even seek them out to make fun of them”he told Nous Deux magazine.
Julien Doré will even continue with a slightly deeper analysis and with hindsight: “Today I’m 41 years old, and in this era where we live through so much horror, my only goal is to have fun and make people who like me feel good about myself. me. I’m not going to worry about those who don’t like me. With Panda, I want to laugh with those who like me. I also hope to make my father and my friends laugh.”. The message is clear: you can’t please everyone, and the singer doesn’t intend to. He just tries to please his loved ones and not disappoint them, he doesn’t care about anything else! And he’s probably right…
