The group “Auspicious tips” has released a new single, which is a precursor to the concert series of New Year’s shows “Let happiness not pass 2024”, which will stop in Cēsis, Liepāja, Valmiera and Rēzekne, ending on New Year’s Day in the Ķīpsala hall.
The new song “Kad satieku egli” was composed by Artūrs Kutepovs, the guitarist of “benevolent” and the author of several golden hits of the group, while Andris Freidenfelds, aka Fredis, created another catchy text. “We are the land of conifers,” Freddy emphasizes the irrefutable truth. “We are a nation of conifers. They help us keep some green even in winter. And warmth. And the awareness that every morning is the New Year. This can also be called the second part of the saga of the son of Chiekura Egles.”

The show will feature a two-part program of musical entertainment with an unmissable buffet break so that everyone can indulge in the time-honored temptation of champagne bubbles. The first part will be like a review of this year’s presences and absences in the country, while in the second part the listeners will be invited to forget about the sit-down concert and fully indulge in the joy and merriment of the holiday. To make everything even more ambitious, the special guests of the show will be the “Skan” youth choir of the Vidzeme University and the Valmiera Culture Center, as well as Kaspars Upaciers or UFO, who will provide jokes and some games in the warm-up part of the evening.
