According to the CEO of the Cupertino company, the diploma is not everything. “I think one of the characteristics I look for in people is collaboration. Can they really collaborate? Do they deeply believe that one plus one equals three?“, he explains to the singer. “It’s an incredible feeling to work with people who bring out the best in you, and fundamentally, we all believe that one plus one equals three. Your idea plus my idea is better than individual ideas.“
Cook also explains that he is looking for people from different backgrounds, not just those coming out of major universities. Curiosity is also very important according to the Apple boss. Employees who do not hesitate to ask questions about the functioning and way of thinking of their interlocutors are a big plus.
