Graciela Domínguez holds meeting with Choix educational community

Culiacán, Sin. – As part of the activities to understand the needs in basic level schools, the head of the Ministry of Public Education and Culture (Sepyc), Graciela Dominguez Navamade a working tour of the municipality of Choice.

The official, accompanied by the municipal president Amalia Gastelum Barraza, He visited three basic level schools where he held meetings with teachers, mothers and fathers to collect concerns and needs in these areas.

One of their meetings was a follow-up meeting with administrative staff, teachers and directors of the Francisco R. Serrano General High Schoollocated in the municipal seat, responding to an invitation after being attended to by different authorities of this agency in September.

The next stop was at Salvador Alvarado PrimaryFederal Support facility, where he toured its facilities in order to pay attention to its needs.

During his tour, Domínguez Nava listened to families, teachers and students from the Professor Cándido Salazar Moreno state secondary school, located in the community of Bajasor.

There, the Secretary of Education called on the community to take advantage of the school space to create a sense of ownership and identity in the new generations.

“How important it is to know what family we come from, what town we come from; the new Textbooks, among other teachings, what the new educational proposal seeks is that, in principle, we learn where we are living and then, we take on the task of knowing more about the origin of its people.”

Domínguez Nava was accompanied by the undersecretary of educational planning, Catalina Esparza Navarrete; by the head of the general secondary school department, María Luisa Nevárez Hernández; by the coordinator of Usicammes, Yara del Rosario Urquídez Valenzuela; as well as the head of regional services for El Fuerte and Choix, Martín Manuel de Jesús Palafox.
