The new family comedy Family Switch stars Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Emma Myers and Brady Noon. This is the story of the Walker family, who accidentally switch bodies after a strange encounter at a planetarium.
Daughter Sissy switches places with her mom Jess, and son Wyatt switches places with his dad Bill … and as you’d expect in a body-swapping comedy, chaos ensues.
While some viewers rated the new movie as amusing and enjoyable, others were horrified by the twist in the storyline involving a sister and a brother while incarnated in the bodies of their mother and father.

In one episode, daughter Sissy (seen as her mother Jess) is joined at home by a group of grown women, one of whom says she’s been told that “couples need at least 12 kisses a day to stay in a relationship.”
Despite Cissy (as Jess) claiming that she and her husband “kissed at least 14 times” that day, the friends are not convinced and start chanting for the couple to kiss.

Wyatt (who is in his father Bill’s body) resists the idea, but finally relents when his sister insists that the women must believe them, so give the requested kiss.
They finally press their lips together, fighting the embarrassment of this very awkward situation.
It’s clear in the episode that the brother and sister are horrified by what they’ve just done, and many viewers who watched the Netflix movie felt the same way.

“I’m watching that new movie ‘Family Switch’ and oh my god the sudden incest is something that was so unexpected and unnecessary…,” wrote one viewer on the social media site X (formerly Twitter).
“That casual incest in ‘Family Switch’ really surprised me,” admitted another, while a third added: “There was NO need for incest in ‘Family Switch.'”
