The president of the transition will meet President Paul Biya in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Wednesday December 6, 2023.
After his visit to Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad and the Central African Republic, the president of the transition, General Oligui Nguema will be in Cameroon where he will be received by the head of state Paul Biya. The two heads of state would take the opportunity to warm up the bilateral relationship that has been fragile for years.
The program also provides for the meeting of the president of the transition with the Gabonese community residing in Cameroon. This visit, which is part of the continuation of the tour that the president of the Transition Committee and the Restoration of Institutions (Ctri) in Gabon has been carrying out since his swearing in on September 4, 2023, will allow General Oligui Nguema to strengthen the relations between Gabon and Cameroon.
Remember that Gabon and Cameroon share economic interests and maintain a common cultural heritage.
