Odido will increase prices by 5.7 percent from January 1, 2024 due to inflation

Odido will implement an inflation adjustment as of January 1, 2024. From that date, the fixed subscription costs with the provider will be increased by 5.7 percent. The increase applies to existing customers who took out their subscription before October 1, 2023.

Odido announces the inflation correction on its website. This applies to both fixed subscriptions and mobile subscriptions. As in previous years, this will be implemented in the first month of the new year. Customers will see the increase on the first invoice they receive in 2024. The company says it uses the inflation figures from Statistics Netherlands. The provider uses the inflation rate of June 2023, which is set at the aforementioned 5.7 percent.

The increase applies to existing customers. Customers who took out or renewed their subscription on or after October 1 will not be charged an inflation adjustment. Customers who were previously with Tele2 mobile will receive an inflation correction in July. Last year it was 10 percent. The new price increase at Odido will therefore not apply to those customers.
