One of the most important industry events will take place on the night from Thursday to FridayThe Game Awards, during which the “gaming Oscars” will be awarded to the best games of the past year.

The atmosphere before this event is heightened by the trailer published today (below), which creatively and coherently presents the best productions released during the last 12 months.

Even though it seems that there are basically two main contenders for the game of the year statuette, i.e. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Baldur’s Gate 3, the trailer shows us almost a full cross-section of the nominated games (and series), combining all titles into a neat narrative whole.

Apart from the topic of the video, it is worth noting that The Game Awards is more than just a ceremony awarding statuettes in 31 categories for recognized games (and others). This is also – and perhaps above all – – an opportunity to make various industry announcementsmainly regarding future titles.

It is now known that Xbox will present “something special” during TGA. Speaking of “Greens”, during the event we should also learn the exact date when Baldur’s Gate 3 will hit the latest Microsoft consoles.
