Saudi authorities issued a warning about the possibility of rain

Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has warned that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in the western regions of Saudi Arabia until next Monday. The warning says that everyone should be careful.

Civil Defense has informed that people should stay in safe places during rainy season. Stay away from waterfalls, valleys and areas where streams meet. Everyone has also been requested not to swim in standing water. Everyone should follow the instructions given by the authorities through various social media networks.

Authorities indicated in the warning that light to moderate rain and active winds causing dust are expected in the Makkah region, including the Holy Makkah, Al-Jumum, Bahra, Taif, Adam, Al-Ardiyat, Mayzan, Al-Kamil, Al-Leith and Al-Khunfuda. Rain warnings are in place for Yanbu, Badr, Al-Baha, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf and the northern border areas.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts indicate that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Makkah region, which includes Jeddah, Khulais, Turaba, Al Muwai, Rabigh and Al-Khurma, Civil Defense said.
