Ukrainian drivers block car passages in Sitanets
Ukrainian drivers do not allow cars to pass on a Polish road near the border with Ukraine. This was announced by Polish politician associated with the carrier movement Rafal Meckler.
A Polish politician published a video on the social network X (formerly Twitter) in which supposedly Ukrainian drivers in reflective vests cross the road at a pedestrian crossing in one direction and the other so that there are always people at the crossing. Thus, they prevent passenger cars from passing through the crossing.
Because of this action, a large queue of cars formed on the road. Meckler clarified that the road blocking is taking place in Poland in the village of Sitaniec.
The head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Danil Getmantsev, said that the blocking of carriers on the border of Slovakia and Poland led to financial losses. According to him, such actions by neighbors will significantly affect the country’s budget and the possibilities of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Polish Minister of Infrastructure Alwin Gayadhur said that the country’s security services have tightened transport control on the border with Ukraine.
