When it comes to the global version of High Energy Heroes, no option other than Apex Legends Mobile comes to mind, because, as many insiders reported, the publisher Tencent Mobile received direct permission from Electronic Arts to use the developments of the mobile Apex Legends and create an “official Chinese clone.”
As reported by insider ImOw in X, the global version of High Energy Heroes will be called Hyper Legends. Again, no mention of Apex Legends, which suggests that Electronic Arts may have nothing to do with High Energy Heroes. You don’t need to look far for an example – MMORPG Tarisland was clearly inspired by World of Warcraft, Tencent did not receive any permission from Blizzard, and is preparing a global version.
If Hyper Legends really turns out to be a separate game from EA, then Tencent or its global subsidiary Proxima Beta could be sued in the West.
As for the release date of Hyper Legends, it is scheduled for 2024 on iOS and Android.
