The death toll from the Israeli bombing of Gaza has risen to 15,523 people since the start of the war

The number of Palestinian deaths rose today, Sunday, to 15,523 as a result of Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, according to what the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said during a press conference that medical teams recovered in the last hours 316 dead and 664 wounded as a result of Israeli attacks, while the largest number of victims is still under the rubble.

Al-Qudra stated that the total number of injured people rose to more than 41,316, accusing the Israeli army of “targeting all areas of the Gaza Strip without exception and falsely claiming the existence of safe areas.”

Al-Qudra said that the Israeli army “expanded the scope of targeting civilians and committed dozens of horrific massacres. It did not leave a single inch of the Gaza Strip without bombing and committed dozens of massacres during the past hours.”

He added that the Israeli army “is still controlling the volume and quality of aid with the aim of stifling the health system while medical teams are dealing with hundreds of wounded on the ground with very modest capabilities.”

Al-Qudra warned that the wounded in hospitals are bleeding to death due to the lack of health services, while the process of leaving the wounded for treatment abroad is moving very slowly and has been limited to the travel of only 413 wounded since the start of Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip.

He called for the provision of safe humanitarian corridors that guarantee the flow of medical supplies, medicines and fuel, the travel of the wounded and sick abroad for treatment to save their lives, and urgent international intervention to stop the Israeli war.
