We were in a situation where we could have stayed on our own, so I’m glad that the players did their best. It was the final game, and for the third-year students, it was their last game at the academy, so we didn’t think about a draw from the beginning. We haven’t changed our methods in particular, and just like what we’ve been doing all year, we’re going to start with good defense and then connect that to offense. Shohei has a lot of players who can break out individually and carry the ball, so we’re going to do our best. We shared with the players the idea of responding tenaciously, and since there were a lot of players coming inside, we had to keep the inside closed and force them out, and they did a great job. They responded tenaciously towards the end, and although they conceded one goal from a corner kick, they didn’t let it happen from within the flow, and I think they did a great job.
It was a tough season, but we were able to finish it off with three consecutive wins. After the suspension, we were able to sort out what we needed to do and what we needed to do and play the remaining three games.Although some players dropped out due to entrance exams or national team activities, the players who were there at that time did a good job. Ichihara’s return has boosted the team’s morale, and this week’s training has been a good atmosphere, and the third-year students have taken the lead in preparing the team to come together and put up a good fight at the end. He did it. I think many of the third-year players had a tough time, but in the last three games, the third-year players produced great results. I think that what they have been working on and accumulating over the past three years has not been wasted, and I think they were able to reconfirm that they have learned something.

I’m relieved that I was able to decide on my own to stay in the Premier League. Personally, I wanted to create a scene that showed more differences. A lot of people came to watch today, including my friends and school teachers, which gave me a lot of strength, and I felt lucky to be able to play in such an atmosphere. Our opponent was Shohei High School, the strongest team in Saitama Prefecture, and we were playing at our home NACK stadium, which was a great situation, so I was really excited. I wanted my juniors to play in the Premier League no matter what, and I thought my last job was to have them stay in the Premier League, and I’m glad that I was able to accomplish that. I’ve been at the academy for nine years, and today is the culmination of all of that, and I think I was able to finish it without any regrets.
