William of England, branded as cold, ambitious and angry

A new book, whose full title is ‘Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival’, is not going to be liked at all to the Windsors. And in it, Omid Scobie deals with tense relationship that Charles III’s youngest son, Harry, has with his family, and especially with his brother William, heir to the British throne, and until recently his greatest ally.

Among the book’s main claims about the 41-year-old heir to the British throne is that William is “a cold and ambitious figure who is dying to ascend to the throne. “He has prioritized his loyalty to the Institution over everything else, going so far as to cooperate with the British press to tarnish the image of his brother, whom he considers a deserter.”

In short, Guillermo is tougher than his father, “who guides himself with his head and his heart.” Diana’s eldest son, light years away from her brother, He apparently has a terrible temper.. “In the private sphere he is unpredictable and, when something doesn’t go his way, his anger is unleashed quickly,” explains Scobie, who a few years ago published another book, focused exclusively on Harry and Meghan.

Scobie also refers to the death of Elizabeth II and how Harry experienced that sad event. For a start, no one informed him about the seriousness of the queen’s situation, and, when he found out, he tried to contact his brother, Guillermo, who never answered his calls. As if that were not enough, the death of his grandmother occurred while he was flying to Scotland and, instead of delaying the official announcement until he arrived, the family decided to make it public. The Duke of Sussex found out about the news by reading it on the BBC.

The book also deals with other topics and refers to other members of the Windsors. Thus, Scobie assures that Kate Middleton is “too terrified to do anything but pose”“and that, from minute zero, he considered Meghan Markle a rival. “He spent more time talking about her than with her.”
