Cameroon :: 2nd Edition of the Pépidoc Seges Cemac: We are there! :: Cameroon

The 2nd edition (4th of the project) of the “Doctoral Incubator in Economic and Management Sciences”, Research Hub for the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa, a competitive conference for doctoral students, was approved by the College of Scientific Labeling of the FNEGE.
We are less than 72 hours away from the opening ceremony!

Focusing on the general theme “Societal and institutional exploitation of scientific productions in Africa: issues and perspectives for sustainable economic development”, it will take place at the French Institute of Yaoundé and mainly at the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon, the December 5&6, 2023.

For this edition, another first innovation, after the labeling: the Competition for the Best Scientific Poster (M-PoS), a poster (a salable summary of the research project with societal and scientific impact/PRISS) produced by the 37 doctoral students selected on the basis of their research projects, which compete for the mobility grant awarded by the French Cooperation.

Who will be the scholarship holders for mobility in France and what will be the Best Scientific Posters? Impossible to discover them before the said days.

In person and online, academic and professional celebrities will give lectures and evaluate the presentations of the candidates’ research projects.

Several Ministers, Rectors of CEMAC universities and Deans of faculties of economics and management have already marked their presence at this mini conference placed under the high patronage of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education of Cameroon and of the President of the CEMAC Commission, of course, in the presence of HE the French Ambassador to Cameroon.

The challenges of promoting research products for the economic development and competitiveness of Africa are increasingly enormous.

Many young non-candidate researchers are expected at IRIC A.500, Tuesday December 5, from 8:30 a.m., to demonstrate the victory of research over poverty.
