Details: His message says that Hungary “does not want to play any role in the internal political struggle of President Zelensky.”
“Such news and political purges are further evidence that Ukraine is not yet ready for membership in the European Union,” Kovacs said.
The day before, the SBU, commenting on Poroshenko’s ban on traveling abroad, stated that this step was carried out allegedly due to the preparation of provocations in the international arena by the Russian special services directed against Ukraine.
The SBU statement says that “according to the plans of the Russian special services, the conduct of a large-scale IPSO should lead to a change in sentiment in the partner countries of the anti-Russian coalition.”
According to the SBU, the Russian Federation planned to involve individual Ukrainian politicians in the IPSO during their visits to third countries.
“According to the counterintelligence data received, it is in this context that information about the planned meeting of the Chairman of the European Solidarity Party Petro Poroshenko with Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who systematically expresses an anti-Ukrainian position, is a “friend of Putin” and calls for the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation, can be considered,” – stated in the special service.
What preceded: Poroshenko said that border guards did not allow him to go on a business trip abroad, to Poland and the United States, and called this “anti-Ukrainian sabotage.”
The border guards noted that they refused to allow Poroshenko to leave due to the fact that his business trip was canceled by the Verkhovna Rada.
First Deputy Speaker Alexander Kornienko says he canceled Poroshenko’s international business trip after receiving a letter marked “For official use”, the contents of which he cannot disclose.
