Pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place in a number of German cities the day before, some of which were attended by thousands of people.
This was reported by “European Truth” with reference to DW.
In particular, in Berlin, according to police, about two thousand people staged a march through the areas of Wedding, Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte under the slogan “Stop genocide in the Gaza Strip.”
According to a police spokesman, in some cases, demonstrators shouted slogans or held posters, “the content of which was relevant from the point of view of criminal law.” Several protesters were detained for document checks.

An action of solidarity with the Palestinian National Authority took place in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg. According to police, the event took place without any crime. The organizers applied for 3,000 people to participate, but only 430 showed up.
A concerted demonstration of solidarity with the residents of the Palestinian territories took place in Hamburg on December 2. The police estimated the number of participants at 350. No offenses were recorded.
Smaller pro-Palestinian actions were held in some other German cities, in particular, about 200 people took to the streets in Dusseldorf.
Before this action, the police announced a ban on slogans like “Stop genocide” and “Stop the extermination of the people.” The administrative court of Düsseldorf recognized this ban as justified. However, the Higher Administrative Court in Münster subsequently overturned it, deciding that such wording did not constitute a criminal offense.
Compared to the events that took place in Germany last month, there were fewer participants in yesterday’s events. So, on November 4, six thousand people came out to rallies in support of the Palestinians in Berlin, and 17 thousand in Dusseldorf.
We remind you that in Prague banned pro-Palestinian demonstration, since its goal was to support the anti-Israeli slogan “From the river to the sea Palestine will be free.”
