Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance has been postponed until February 21, 2024.

Slitherine has announced that it has postponed Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance – a dark RTS set in the dystopian world of the popular film series.

The game was originally supposed to launch on December 7, but this date has now been changed to February 21, 2024. In a blog posts on Steam Slitherine writes that the postponement has been made to enable them to “deliver a meticulously crafted and polished gaming experience.”.

The post further states: “Our team believes that spending a few extra weeks tweaking, polishing and fixing any existing bugs will significantly improve the overall quality of the game. We strongly believe in the potential of this game and believe that you’re going to love it. That’s why we’re doing our best to create as smooth and comfortable an experience as possible.

The extended deadline allows us to focus on important aspects such as multiplayer testing, implementing more quality of life improvements, and addressing specific issues raised by the community, such as performance-related issues. This includes improvements to the server infrastructure to improve global coverage and resolve non-discrete graphics card selection issues, tutorial displays and ultra-wide resolution issues.”
