The free update 2.1, which adds new gameplay elements to Cyberpunk 2077, will be applied on the 5th.
The main part of this 2.1 update changes the existing content that already exists in Night City so that you can enjoy it more abundantly. The most important of these is the NCART subway system that runs throughout the city. Unlike the existing system, which was a simple instantaneous movement, it will be transformed into a means of transportation that provides a space for rest and beautiful scenery in the most dangerous Megalopolis of the dark future.
Among the new features is a radio port that allows you to enjoy music without using the car. Now it is possible to listen to music while walking around the city, even in peaceful or non-peaceful situations.
In addition, new chases and replayable car races will be added. In particular, in the case of car racing, previously it was only available in limited missions, but now you can participate in the race again even after clearing the mission, and you can also receive additional rewards and discounts on the in-game Autofixer website.
Several improvements were also made to the boss battle, and the somewhat bland battle with Adam Smasher was also upgraded. Adam Smasher’s AI has been improved, and he appears wearing a Sandevistan like in the Cyberpunk: Edge Runner animation.
In addition, many things will be added and technical improvements will be made, including the Porsche 911 convertible, new motorcycles, improved motorcycle handling, and new driving mechanics. Accessibility features that players can choose from, such as turning off the timer for the Infiltration Protocol minigame or using a larger font, have also been added.
This update will take effect on December 5th, and all players can receive it for free.
