Madonna’s Diva Behavior and Late Concert in Amsterdam Frustrates Fans

Sandra Verbaan, a fan who was waiting in the Ziggo Dome, wrote on X just after 10 p.m. “that this cannot be made up for anymore. What diva behavior. People who came by train almost have to leave.” The audience became restless and whistle concerts sounded.

“My niece emptied her piggy bank for a ticket and had to leave after seven songs,” Asha Promes reported on X. More dissatisfied fans made themselves known on the messaging service. “Looks like she should change her name to Pardonna,” wrote Jan van der Aa. “Pay expensively and then go home in time to catch your last transport,” Irma Koning wrote on Facebook.

Festival organizer MOJO warned fans before the concert about possible delays. Madonna has often started her concerts later than planned lately.

Ultimately, Madonna’s performance finished around 12:45 am. Fans who asked the Dutch Railways (NS) on X whether an extra late train was being deployed were told that this could no longer be arranged. The organizer should have requested this earlier.

“It might be useful to do this differently tomorrow,” said Stefan Flierman, referring to the second concert that the world star will give in Amsterdam on Saturday evening.

LOOK. A full Sportpaleis danced to Madonna, but the Queen of Pop also arrived much too late in Antwerp
