Famitsu has released a video showing 3 minutes of gameplay from the PC version of Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis. This is the first look at the PC version.
Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis lets you relive some of the most memorable moments from FFVII and relive the journey of young hero Sephiroth. Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis is a free-to-play game first released on smartphones. While you can already play it on PC via Android emulators, it’s good to have a native PC version.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis appears to be a Gacha game. For example, single-player content missions require stamina, and when you run out of stamina, you’ll have to wait for it to replenish or pay. Yes, you will receive new stamina potions every day. And that’s why it’s a pay-to-win game. Once you run out of potions, you will either have to wait a whole day or pay to get them.
A limited number of potions per day is exactly what P2P (pay-to-play) games describe. Theoretically, PC modders/hackers could release a trainer/mod to bypass this limitation.
Square Enix will release Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis on PC on December 7th.
